Places that are part of my ancestry

In this section I have written about the places in Victoria where my parents grew up, and also about Norfolk Island. Two of my convict ancestors, Olivia Gascoigne and Nathaniel Lucas were part of the first settlement on the island and a few years later two more ancestors arrived, Ann White and Kennedy Murray.

Both Lexton (home of Thomas Mann), and Tallygaroopna (home of Merlyn Mann nee Dudley), are two small townships in Victoria. Little remains of the first settlement on Norfolk but the island has a rich tourism industry and is a beautiful place to visit.
